The club will be introducing a Code of Conduct at our August meeting. Central to this Code of Conduct will be the word RESPECT. This will apply right across the board from team mentors and players (youngest to oldest) to parents, club officers and all club members.
In preparation for our Code of Conduct I would kindly ask everyone to be mindful of the word RESPECT off the field and particularly on the field. In doing so can we remember that players and referees on any given day always do their best and we should only use words of support and encouragement.
Shouting abuse is very hurtful and completely unnecessary.
It is much more respectful to say nothing at all.
As we approach both ladies and mens championships I ask everyone to come out and support the young men and ladies that give us something to look forward to every weekend and as I said use only words of encouragement.
